Internship for KAFU student at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences 

Yernar Upobayev, a second-year student in the 7M02302 Translation Studies program at the Kazakh-American Free University and recipient of the Leonhard Euler Scholarship, is currently completing a month-long internship at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau, Germany.

Founded in 1897, the West Saxon University boasts modern facilities, a highly professional faculty, and excellent study and research conditions. As an official partner university of the Kazakh-American Free University, this institution offers our master’s students a unique opportunity to become familiar with European teaching methods in the humanities and technical disciplines, as well as acquire new knowledge, skills, and abilities in translation and other relevant fields. During his internship, Yernar Upobayev works under the supervision of leading university faculty, engages in research, and receives consultations on his dissertation. Yernar is the fourth master’s student in the Translation Studies program to have the opportunity to complete an internship at this prestigious institution.
