KAFU Delegation Visits German University

The next visit of the delegation of the Kazakh-American Free University to the partner university in Germany – the West-Saxon University of Applied Sciences (Zwickau) has ended. The visit took place within the framework of the summer semester and the International alumni week of the DAAD academic exchange program. The events were attended by representatives of different countries – Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Albania. The KAFU delegation included Associate Professor of KAFU Yuliya V. Novitskaya, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Business Ruslan K. Chettykbayev, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages Yuliya O. Engel and Director of the International department, Aizhan Y. Chettykbayeva.

Ruslan K. Chettykbaev and Yuliya V. Novitskaya held interactive lectures for program participants on topics related to the digitalization of education – “Challenges in Digital Teaching and Writing – Perspective IT Tools” and “Pedagogical Challenges in Digital Teaching, Learning and Writing”, and Yuliya O. Engel held a presentation on multicultural education in the Republic of Kazakhstan “Multikulturelle Ausbildung in der Republik Kasachstan”.

All speeches aroused keen interest of the participants and ended with a productive exchange of views.

Department of Foreign Languages
