KAFU Lecturer Completed an Internship at Moscow City Pedagogical University.

In September 2025, as part of a partnership between the Kazakh-American Free University and educational institutions in the Russian Federation, Yuliya V. Gnatyuk, a lecturer in the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy at KAFU, completed an internship at Moscow City Pedagogical University (Moscow).

The program was supervised by Andrey A. Terov, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogical Technologies for Continuous Education at the Institute of Continuous Education at Moscow City Pedagogical University, who developed a comprehensive educational program that was fully implemented.

As part of the internship, the lecturer participated in the following events:

• a workshop “The History, Mission, and Functioning of the Silver University of Moscow City Pedagogical University” (led by Associate Professor Andrey Terov);

• a workshop by Yulia Kropova, PhD (Biology), Associate Professor, “Nutrigenomics. What Our Genes Conceal…”

• A mini-lecture by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Candidate of Philosophy, Professor Larisa Loginova, “The Current State and Development of Supplementary Education for Children and Adults in Russia”;

• Attendance at a class in the professional retraining program “Supplementary Education Teacher”;

• Participation in a roundtable discussion led by Department Head Natalia Sheveleva, “The Practice of Implementing Continuous Education and Professional Development Models.”

Following the roundtable discussion, participants were presented with commemorative souvenirs and a collection of articles from the VII International Conference on Continuous Education-2025.

The Kazakh-American Free University expresses its gratitude to its colleagues from Moscow State Pedagogical University  for their fruitful collaboration and the highly professional organization of the internship. In the near future, the parties plan to continue their collaboration through joint scientific and educational projects and academic exchange programs.
