KAFU OPEN HOUSE & WELCOME DAY-2025: DAY 5

On January 17, 2025, the Kazakh-American Free University held a career guidance event “KAFU Open House & Welcome Day”.

11th graders of schools and gymnasiums of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk No. 1, 3, 43, 16, 20, 33, 35, as well as students of the Zhambyl Regional Specialized School-Gymnasium were invited to the meeting.

The event began with a tour of the main building of KAFU, where the schoolchildren learned about the history of the university and its achievements. Competitions and interactive stations were prepared for the guests, allowing them to immerse themselves in the student life atmosphere.

Particular attention was paid to the benefits of studying at a university actively developing international partnerships. The participants were told about double degree programs, internships, and opportunities to study abroad. During the meeting, schoolchildren asked questions about admission rules, dormitory living conditions, and career prospects after graduating.

The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, leaving bright impressions on the schoolchildren and inspiring them to choose KAFU for further education.

In just 5 days of the “KAFU Open House & Welcome Day”, more than 1,000 schoolchildren visited the university. Students and accompanying teachers noted the high level of organization and diversity of the programs presented, and showed a keen interest in the opportunities that KAFU offers, especially in international educational programs and internships.

Graduates actively asked questions and were sincerely interested in the future career prospects that the university offers. For most of them, this meeting was an important step in deciding on further education, and for some – the beginning of the journey into the world of higher education with KAFU.
