KAFU Strengthens Ties with Ust-Kamenogorsk Schools
As part of its career guidance work, the Kazakh-American Free University held meetings with all schools in Ust-Kamenogorsk. As a token of gratitude for long-term cooperation and contribution to the development of education, school principals were presented with letters of thanks. These events, timed to coincide with the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the university, were headed by KAFU Rector’s Advisor Natalia A. Nesterenko and Head of the Marketing and Admission Department Azamat Berdibekov. The university staff and teachers also took part in the work.
At the meetings, the project “KAFU Major-Specialized Class” was presented, which for two years has been successfully helping high school students deepen their knowledge in specialized disciplines and decide on their future profession. This program, initiated by KAFU President Yerezhep A. Mambetkaziev, is of increasing interest among schoolchildren and their parents, which indicates its demand. In addition, university representatives held meetings with graduates, told them about the advantages of studying at KAFU, educational programs, international partnerships and employment prospects. At the meetings, all questions regarding admission were answered. Particular attention was paid to an individual approach to students, wide opportunities for their development and participation in international educational programs. KAFU continues to strengthen ties with educational institutions in the region, helping schoolchildren decide on their future profession and creating new opportunities for their growth.
