KAFU Student Wins 35th Kazakhstan Track and Field Championships
From January 9 to 11, 2026, the 35th Kazakhstan Track and Field Championships were held at the Kazakhstan Track and Field Sports Complex in Astana.
The strongest athletes from various regions of Kazakhstan participated in the competition, demonstrating a high level of training and a desire to win.
Bakytzhan Nurlanuly, a first-year student in the Physical Education and Sports program at KAFU, represented the university with distinction on the national stage and took third place in the 4×200-meter relay. This result was a significant achievement in his athletic career and a testament to his systematic preparation and determination.
Bakytzhan Nurlanuly entered the Kazakh-American Free University after graduating from the Shakarim Higher College of the Semey Shakarim University, where he received excellent professional training, which he continues to develop at our university.
