KAFU Student Wins Bronze at the Kazakhstan Freestyle Mogul Championship
From March 30 to 31, 2026, the Kazakhstan Freestyle Mogul Championship was held at the NurTau ski resort in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The country’s top athletes participated in the competition.
Semyon Russakov, a third-year student in the KAFU program 6B01401 “Physical Education and Sports,” demonstrated a high level of preparation and won a bronze medal.
Semyon is a graduate of the East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Boarding School-College of Olympic Reserve for Gifted Children in Sports, where he laid a solid foundation for his athletic and professional development. The knowledge he gained, systematic training, and the support of his mentors played a significant role in shaping him into a promising athlete. The KAFU team is proud of their student’s achievement and wishes Semyon Russakov future success, new personal bests, and outstanding victories in competitions at various levels!
