KAFU Students Participate in the Regional Job Fair “Days of Cities and Regions”

On April 27, KAFU graduate students took an active part in the regional job fair “Days of Cities and Regions”. The event was attended by about 400 people from Ust-Kamenogorsk, Ridder, Altai district, Glubokoe, Shemonaikha, Zaisan, Katon-Karagay, Kurchum, Samara, Tarbagatai and Ulan districts. Informative presentations were made by deputy akims of the city and district, heads of employment centers, individual entrepreneurs, representatives of peasant farms, and university graduates.

“Youth Resource Center” of the Department of Social Development annually organizes an information and advisory platform to introduce potential employers to future specialists – university graduates.

The main goal of the fair is the employment of young people in popular specialties, reducing the outflow of graduates to other regions of the country and abroad, and the possibility of employment in regions and rural areas thanks to state youth employment programs. During the fair, employers presented their organizations, presented available vacancies, and formed their own database of the most suitable candidates. Our students were able to communicate with representatives of organizations and ask them questions.
