KAFU Students Served as Volunteer Translators at the International Scientific Congress

Students from the 6B01703 “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” and 6B02301 “Translation Studies” programs at the Kazakh-American Free University actively participated in organizing and hosting the International Scientific Congress “Humanization of Education in the Digital World: Professional and Ethical Guidelines for International Partnership” by serving as volunteer translators.

For several days, the students provided language support for international guests and congress participants. They provided consecutive and simultaneous interpretation during the plenary session, guest lectures, and informal meetings.

Participation in such a large-scale international event provided valuable professional experience for the students, allowing them to apply their acquired knowledge and skills in intercultural communication, academic translation, and specialized translation. The organizers and invited guests highly praised the level of language proficiency and the commitment of the KASU students, noting their competence, friendliness, and ability to work in a multilingual environment.

The Department of Foreign Languages expresses its gratitude to the students for their commitment, initiative, and contribution to the development of the university’s international cooperation and wishes them continued success in their personal and professional development.
