KAFU Students Win the IV International Internet Olympiad “Electoral Systems of the World”
From September 15 to October 30, 2023, the International Institute for Monitoring the Development of Democracy of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, together with the Saratov State Law Academy and the International Center for Scientific Information, organized the IV International Internet Olympiad “Electoral Systems of the World.” 2,476 students from 172 higher educational institutions of the CIS countries took part in it; the Republic of Kazakhstan was represented by 365 students from 36 regional universities of the country.
According to the results of the Organizing Committee and the international jury of the IV International Internet Olympiad “Electoral Systems of the World,” the winners of the Internet Olympiad were 122 students from universities in the CIS countries who scored 90 or more points. 14 students from this group were students from Kazakhstan.
178 students who scored up to 89 points were announced as prize-winners (12 of them were Kazakhstani students). Among them are 3rd year students of the EP “Jurisprudence” of the Kazakh-American Free University Angelina E. Khoreva and Alua A. Aubakirova.
The winners and runners-up of the International Internet Olympiad will take part in the work of the third International Youth Parliamentary School and the International Scientific and Practical Conference in the format of scientific debates, which will be held online on December 12, 2023.
