Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan: Cooperation between KAFU and Ala-Too International University
On September 15, 2023, a ceremony was held to sign a memorandum between the Kazakh-American Free University and Ala-Too International University (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan).
While signing the memorandum, the Rector of Ala-Too International University, Ph.D. Zhyldyzbek Zhakshylykov and the Director of the Student Department Askarbek Kamchiev presented promising areas within the framework of international cooperation between universities.
The President of KAFU, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Erezhep A. Mambetkaziev, in his greeting, noted the importance of cooperation in the field of academic and scientific projects, noting the fact that this memorandum reflects the desire of universities for the active exchange of knowledge, advanced methods and practices, which contributes to the training of highly qualified specialists and researchers for the modern world. Also KAFU Vice-President for International Relations and Cooperation Daniel Ballast and KAFU First Vice-President, PhD Zhasulan E. Baikenov noted the importance of expanding international cooperation in the field of higher education.
Ala-Too International University is a private non-profit higher education institution in Kyrgyzstan, founded in 1996.
