Leadership as a life strategy

On April 18, 2024, a meeting was held between KAFU Vice President for International Programs Daniel Ballast and a group of Profile Class students.

The main topic of discussion was the concept of leadership and its importance in the modern work environment. The definition of leadership, the characteristics of leaders, their influence on the team, and how leaders can help or harm their colleagues were discussed.

Participants highlighted key aspects of leadership behavior, noting the need for empathy and the ability to lead a team without manipulation. It is emphasized that the difference between leadership and management lies in the leader’s ability to effectively distribute responsibilities and relationships with colleagues.

The discussion took place in an open and friendly atmosphere, where participants shared their opinions, told stories from practice, and also participated in games that helped not only to defuse the situation, but also to consolidate the material being discussed.

All participants agreed that the meeting was extremely useful and informative, and expressed a desire to organize such events more often.
