Lim Tai Tun Delivered a Series of Lectures at KAFU

From October 6 to 9, 2025, the Kazakh-American Free University hosted a series of meetings and lectures with Singaporean entrepreneur and international strategic management expert Tai Tun Lim.

The university’s guest is an executive with over 40 years of experience at the intersection of the public, commercial, and non-profit sectors. His approach to leadership is based on the concept of a “tri-sector athlete,” which entails the ability to effectively operate simultaneously in business, society, and public administration.

During his visit, Tai Tun Lim met with university students and faculty. The lectures focused on modern sustainable development strategies, cross-sector collaboration, and the creation of innovation ecosystems.

Of particular interest were discussions on the role of youth in developing responsible business and the prospects for integrating sustainable development principles into the Kazakh economy.

Faculty and students noted the speaker’s high level of professionalism and inspiring example of international experience. Lim Tai Tun’s visit was a significant step in strengthening KAFU’s academic and international ties with partners from Asia and Europe, and also contributed to the development of a global perspective among the university’s students.
