Master’s Students Learn About Learning Opportunities on Coursera Platform

February 12, 2025 as part of the 7M01701(2) “Foreign Languages: Two Foreign Languages” educational program, a meeting was held between master’s students and a faculty member from the Department of Foreign Languages. The event was dedicated to exploring the academic and professional development opportunities offered by the Coursera online learning platform.

The instructor provided a detailed explanation of how to take courses on the platform, which subject areas are available, and which courses are particularly relevant for future educators and linguists. Special attention was given to courses in language teaching methodology, academic writing, intercultural communication, and digital technologies in education.

Students were introduced to specific course examples offered by leading universities such as the University of London, Arizona State University, the University of California, and others. Practical recommendations were given on how to register, select courses, and obtain certificates that can be included in a professional portfolio and used when applying for jobs or internships.
