Meeting for students of the College of Economics and Finance
On April 17, 2024, the Kazakh-American Free University held a career guidance meeting for students of the Ust-Kamenogorsk College of Economics and Finance.
The meeting was attended by Vice President for International Programs and Cooperation of KAFU Daniel Ballast, First Vice President Baikenov
Zhasulan Erbolovich, Dean of the Faculty of Shortened Educational Programs Shefer Nadezhda Mikhailovna, Head of the Department of Business Bordiyanu Ilona Vladimirovna, Head of the Marketing and Admission Department Berdibekov Azamat Berdibekovich.
The meeting was moderated by the director of the college, Nabiev Ersain Akhmetvalievich.
At the meeting, Zhasulan Erbolovich told students about the full-time, shortened form of study at the university, about the opportunities for college graduates to receive higher education for a period of study from 2 to 3 years.
Students from the College of Economics and Finance asked questions to the meeting participants about academic mobility and international internships. Daniel Ballast answered these questions in more detail, talking about the possibilities of studying abroad.
Schaefer Nadezhda Mikhailovna devoted her introduction to the topic of organizing a full-time shortened form of education.
Azamat Berdibekov spoke about the rules for admission and the availability of grants for existing specialties for college graduates.
The meeting ended with a speech by Ilona Vladimirovna, who spoke about the advantages of the business department and the university’s double-degree educational programs.
