Meeting of KAFU Representatives with the Partner University West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau, Germany to Discuss the Dual-Degree Master’s Program “Healthcare Management”

On November 25, 2024, a delegation of the Kazakh-American Free University Serik M. Abilov – Director of the International Cooperation Department, Eldar Y. Mubarakov – 2nd year doctoral student of the Management program visited the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau, Germany. As part of the visit, a productive meeting was held with the Dean of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences Tom Karl Schaal to open the dual-degree master’s program “Healthcare Management”.

The parties discussed in detail the academic content of the program, the possibilities of exchanging experience between the faculty and students, as well as strengthening cooperation between the two universities.

This initiative is aimed at training highly qualified specialists in the field of healthcare management, which meets modern challenges and promotes the development of international educational partnerships. It is expected that the new program will be an important step in expanding the international activities of KAFU and will provide students with unique opportunities to gain knowledge and experience at the level of world standards. KAFU expresses gratitude to the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences for the warm welcome and willingness to cooperate. In the near future, the parties plan to complete work on the final concept of the program and begin the process of its accreditation.
