Meeting of KAFU Students with Representatives of Justice Department of East Kazakhstan Region

On April 24, 2024, 3rd year students of the Kazakh-American Free University EP “Jurisprudence” met with the Head of the Department for Intellectual Property Rights of the Department of Justice of the East Kazakhstan region, Elzhas K. Kaydarov and chief specialist Aibek A. Shumanov.

At the meeting with students, the issues related to the work of the department were discussed, including the procedure for conducting inspections, seizing illegal goods and their destruction. Elzhas Kaidaruly spoke about the methods and features of this process, and Aibek Aitbekovich showed a video of the destruction of counterfeit products and distributed information sheets.

Students actively participated in the meeting, asking questions about job opportunities and internships. The meeting was productive and useful for future lawyers, expanding their understanding of the legal aspects of intellectual property.
