Meeting on career guidance issues from the branch of JSC National Center for Advanced Training “Orleu”
On April 29, 2024, on the basis of the KSU “Centralized Library System named after Oralkhan Bokey” of the Akimat of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, a meeting was held with representatives of universities and colleges in the region with the aim of introducing career guidance counselors from secondary schools to top higher educational institutions and colleges. The meeting was held as part of advanced training from the branch of JSC “National Center for Advanced Training “Orleu” of the Institute of Professional Development in the East Kazakhstan Region.”
At this event, Yulia Vladimirovna Trofimova, a senior lecturer at the Department of Business, spoke from the university and showed a master class.
Yulia Vladimirovna spoke about the history and current state of the Kazakh-American Free University, educational prospects and modern approaches to the learning process.
Following the presentation, career guidance counselors asked questions about admission, grants, specifics of training, and also received all the necessary information about the educational programs of KAFU, the Higher College of KAFU and the Ust-Kamenogorsk College of Economics and Finance.
