Meeting with Olzhas Nuraldinov, Member of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to Explain the New Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On February 17, 2026, an important meeting was held at the Kazakhstan-American Free University (KAFU) with Olzhas Yeltaiuly Nuraldinov, a Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was dedicated to explaining the provisions of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, adopted in 2025, which introduced significant changes to the country’s legal system.
Olzhas Nuraldinov подробно explained the key aspects of the new Constitution, emphasizing how the amendments strengthen the protection of citizens’ rights, improve democratic processes, and reinforce the rule of law. The Deputy described how the reforms outlined in the new Constitution affect the functioning of state authorities, ensure more effective interaction between government bodies and citizens, and contribute to sustainable social development and greater social justice.
Special attention was given to human rights issues, changes in the electoral system, the strengthening of judicial independence, and guarantees of social protection. Olzhas Yeltaiuly also answered questions from students and faculty members, clarifying how every citizen can benefit from the new rights and guarantees established by the Constitution.
