Meeting with Students before Early Elections of Deputies of the Mazhilis and Maslikhats

On February 2, 2023, at the Kazakh-American Free University, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Election Commission of the East Kazakhstan Region, Professor of KAFU, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Yersain Nabiyev and students of our university, during which the speaker explained the legislative foundations of the procedure for electing deputies of the Mazhilis and Maslikhats.

The next speaker was KAFU Vice-Rector for Research and Postgraduate Education, Professor, Candidate of Law Yulia Gavrilova , who highlighted the innovations in the electoral legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of early elections of deputies of the Mazhilis and Maslikhats.

In addition, the senior lecturer of the Department of Law and International Relations, Master of Laws, freelance trainer-teacher of the Branch of the Academy of Public Administration in East Kazakhstan region for chairmen and secretaries of election commissions of the East Kazakhstan region Saveliy Muzhchil acquainted students with the types of legal liability for violating the electoral legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

All speakers called for the active participation of students in the upcoming extraordinary elections of deputies of the Mazhilis and Maslikhats, which will be held on March 19, 2023.
