Open House & Welcome Day at KAFU: Day Two

On January 13, 2026, the Kazakhstan-American Free University hosted the second day of Open House & Welcome Day for high school graduates from the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk.

The career guidance event was designed as an interactive journey through the university. School graduates moved through thematic KAFU stations, each representing a specific field of study and various aspects of university life. At each station, participants attended short yet informative mini-lectures, listened to engaging presentations by faculty members and students, and took part in practical tasks, quests, and interactive activities. This approach allowed participants not only to receive information but also to experience the specifics of academic programs firsthand.

The format of the second day enabled prospective applicants to immerse themselves more deeply in the university’s academic environment, ask questions directly, try themselves in different roles, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the educational opportunities available at KAFU.

The Open House & Welcome Day provided school students with a valuable opportunity to become familiar with the university, its atmosphere, and its academic offerings, helping them make an informed decision about their future educational path.
