Open House & Welcome Day in KAFU: Day one

January 12, 2025, the Kazakhstan-American Free University hosted the first day of Open House & Welcome Day for high school graduates from the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk.

The career guidance event was designed as an interactive journey through the university. High school graduates moved through thematic KAFU stations, each representing a specific field of study and aspects of university life. At each station, students attended short yet engaging mini-lectures, listened to live stories from faculty members and students, and took part in hands-on activities, quests, and interactive tasks. This approach allowed participants not only to hear about the programs, but to truly experience the uniqueness of each educational pathway.

This format gave future applicants an opportunity to explore the university’s academic environment in a dynamic and engaging way, ask questions directly, try themselves in different roles, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the educational opportunities available at KAFU.

Open House & Welcome Day became an excellent opportunity for prospective students to get to know the university, its atmosphere, and its educational offerings more closely, helping them make an informed choice about their future education.
