Opportunities for International Academic Mobility for KAFU Students
On October 10, 2023, first-year students of the Kazakh-American Free University met with Daniel Ballast, Vice President for International Programs and Cooperation.
During the meeting, Daniel Ballast told the first-year students about the opportunities for international academic mobility that KAFU has been implementing for many years. These are various programs and grants, internships in European countries and the USA.
For example, this is the International Servant Leadership Program (ISLP) – a unique program created in collaboration with the Co-Serve International organization in Portland, Oregon, USA. This program is designed specifically for students, master’s and doctoral students of our university with the aim of teaching new approaches to leadership, which are based on the principles of service to society, respect for the dignity and personality of each person, development of personal and professional potential, team building and combining creative efforts to achieve high results.
Also the speakers at the meeting were KAFU students who had already completed their studies in various programs and were able to share their experience of international academic mobility.
At the end of the meeting, first-year students were able to communicate with the President of KAFU, Yerezhep A. Mambetkaziev.
