On February 26, 2025, a practical lesson on the topic “Active Forms and Methods, Teaching Technologies” in the discipline “Methodology of Teaching Literature” for students of the EP “Russian Language and Literature” was held at the Kazakh-American Free University.

The lesson was conducted by Aigerim B. Abylgazinova – a teacher of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of KAFU, as well as a teacher of “Secondary School No. 18” of the education department of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. She is an experienced teacher-moderator who actively introduces modern educational technologies, combining work at school and university.

During the lesson, students got acquainted with innovative teaching methods aimed at developing the cognitive activity of schoolchildren. In the process of discussion and practical exercises, future teachers were able to apply the knowledge they gained, which became an important stage in their professional training.

Studying teaching methods from the first years is the basis for successful teaching practice. It helps future specialists not only master modern teaching technologies, but also adapt to the real learning environment, which makes it much easier to enter the profession.

One of the priority tasks of KAFU is to train in-demand specialists who are able to work effectively in a changing educational system. A practice-oriented approach allows students to confidently master the methodological principles of teaching and apply them in practice.

Classes with experienced teachers, such as Aigerim B. Abylgazinova, help future teachers acquire valuable professional skills, develop pedagogical skills and confidence in working with students. This format of training forms competent, creative teachers who are ready for professional growth and the introduction of new educational technologies.
