The Kazakh-American Free University announces a regional presentation competition “Kazakh-American Free University: past, present, future” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the university.

APPLICATION FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE REGIONAL PRESENTATION COMPETITION “KAZAKH-AMERICAN FREE UNIVERSITY: PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE”
Last name, first name, patronymic of the participant, full name of the educational institution, class.
Information about the teacher who prepared the participant – full name.
Title of the presentation (for example, “Image of KAFU in the international arena”, “History of KAFU”, “Continuity of education – facets of KAFU”, etc.)
Contact information (full name of the school where the Competition participant studies, e-mail, telephone numbers of the participant and his supervisor – current active numbers).

Conditions of the competition
The Competition participant develops a presentation (from one to five slides), in which he expresses the idea of “Kazakhstan-American Free University: past, present, future.”
Participants are invited to visually express a known or new story about KAFU in one presentation. Any questions, contemporary or historical, that show our university in one aspect of its educational, international or cultural activities are welcome.
The presentation in electronic form is sent by email along with the application (in .pptx or .pdf format).

Criteria for evaluation
When assessing, the jury takes into account the following criteria:
general project logic,
quality of photographs and text,
author’s originality,
compliance with the theme of the competition and the theme of your own title.
ONLY 11th grade students of schools in cities and districts of the East Kazakhstan region are invited to the competition. Any number of participants from one educational institution is accepted. The presentation can be in Kazakh and Russian.
Presentations and applications will be accepted until May 5, 2024.
The work of the jury takes place from May 5 to May 12.
The results of the Competition will be announced from May 12 to May 20, 2024.

Based on the results of the Regional Presentation Competition “Kazakh-American Free University: Past, Present, Future”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the university, first, second and third places are determined.
The winners are awarded diplomas. The diploma will contain information about the supervisor who trained the winner.
The winner with a diploma for 1st place is given a grant for studying at KAFU, the winner with a diploma for 2nd place is given a 50% discount on studying at KAFU, the winner with a diploma for 3rd place is given a 30% discount on studying at KAFU.
Participants are awarded certificates. Participation in the Regional Presentation Competition “Kazakhstan-American Free University: Past, Present, Future,” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the university, is free.
