Press Tour with an Investigator from the East Kazakhstan Region Police Department

On December 19, 2025, the East Kazakhstan Region Police Department held a press tour titled “One Day with an Investigator.” Participants included Ulpan Zhakuyeva, a fourth-year student in the Law and Law Enforcement program, and Daniil Yezhov, a third-year student in the Jurisprudence program (after college).

The students were mentored by Major Dmitry S. Pupkov, an investigator with the East Kazakhstan Region Police Department’s Investigation Department. Students from the Kazakh-American Free University learned about the organization of the investigative service and the specifics of investigating criminal offenses, including traffic accidents.

The East Kazakhstan Region Police Department noted that the press tour format allowed students not only to observe the daily routine of officers but also to participate in specific investigative actions.
