Preventive Raid within the Framework of the “Law and Order” Principle

On November 12, 2025, a preventive raid was held at the Student House of the Kazakh-American Free University. It was organized by the Youth Resource Center of the East Kazakhstan Region Internal Policy Department together with the Drug Enforcement Department of the East Kazakhstan Region Police Department.

The event was aimed at preventing drug use among young people and fostering a responsible attitude toward their own health among students. Police officers, representatives of the youth center, and canine handlers with service dogs participated in the raid.

During the visit to the dormitory, students received informational materials about the dangers of drugs and opportunities for help when dealing with addiction. A discussion was also held about the legal and social consequences of the use and distribution of prohibited substances.

As a result of the raid, no violations were identified. University administration noted the importance of such initiatives aimed at creating a healthy and safe environment in the student community.
