Regional Job Fair in Ust-Kamenogorsk
On May 14, 2025, a large-scale and significant event took place on the main square of Ust-Kamenogorsk – a regional job fair, which brought together students, graduates of the city’s universities and representatives of more than 80 leading organizations and enterprises in the region.
The event was attended by students from colleges and universities of the East Kazakhstan region interested in finding work, internships and professional opportunities. Graduates of the Kazakh-American Free University of 2025 were especially active – they got acquainted with employers’ offers, learned about vacancies, passed express interviews and received advice on employment issues.
The fair provided participants with a unique chance to establish contacts with potential employers and get an idea of the real needs of the labor market.
A cultural program prepared by university students gave a special atmosphere to the event. The audience enjoyed creative performances, music and dance shows, which contributed to the whole festive atmosphere of the event. The concert program featured the student dance group of KAFU “Vortex”, which gave the audience a bright and energetic performance.
The importance of the job fair is difficult to overestimate. It promotes professional self-determination of young people, forms an active life position, strengthens the connection between the education system and employers.
The regional job fair in Ust-Kamenogorsk became an important step towards building a successful career, and also showed how important it is to create conditions for supporting young specialists at the start of their professional path.
