Regional Seminar-Practicum on Modern Approaches to Teaching French and German Languages

On February 27, 2026 in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, at “Gymnasium No. 10”, a regional seminar-workshop for teachers of French and German languages ​​was held on the topic “Modern Approaches to Teaching French and German Languages: Innovative Methods and Technologies”.

The organizer of the event was the East Kazakhstan regional scientific and methodological center of informatization and educational development “Orken”.

As part of the program, Elena V. Shikhotova, senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages, director of the Linguistic Center of KAFU, made a presentation at the seminar. In her speech, she presented practical experience and modern approaches to teaching the German language using innovative educational technologies.

At the end of the event, Elena V. Shikhotova was awarded a letter of thanks for fruitful cooperation, high professionalism, pedagogical skills and a significant contribution to the development of German language teaching in the East Kazakhstan region.
