Report-presentation of KAFU students “Experience of studying abroad”
On April 11, 2024, students who completed internships under the academic mobility program at leading universities in the USA, Turkey, Germany and Poland presented their reports and presentations “Study Abroad Experience”. This event was held within the framework of the XIV International Forum of Young Scientists of KAFU.
Zhamsap Akerke is a graduate of KAFU in 2023, a master’s student in the specialty “Kazakh language and Kazakh literature”, a year ago she completed a scientific internship at Bulent Ecevit University in Zonguldak, Turkey. In her presentation report, she noted that the professors of this university shared valuable experience, as well as theoretical and practical knowledge on teaching methods.
KAFU 2023 graduate with a degree in Translation Studies, Almadieva Albina, spoke in detail about her exchange training at Oklahoma Baptist University, USA.
A group of KAFU students – a second-year master’s student of the specialty “Foreign languages, two foreign languages” Sabyrbekova Balzhan, a third-year student of technical and vocational education of the specialty “Finance” Kenesova Aidana and a fourth-year student of the specialty “Tourism” Serikbol Kausar – returned from the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau, Germany. They talked about student life in Europe and showed photos of the university where they studied. They also shared their impressions of life abroad.
Zaitan Alnur, a fourth-year student majoring in International Relations, and Yana Linkok, a second-year student majoring in Management, completed their training at the International Leadership Academy in the USA. Complete immersion in the language environment and communication with foreign students allowed them to better understand the cultural characteristics of this country, as well as improve their speaking skills.
Three more KAFU students are currently continuing their studies at foreign universities. Kabylkazizov Zhandos and Hanseit Sherkhan, students of the Double Diploma Program in the specialty “IT Management,” are in Germany, at the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau, and Sarsekov Berik, a fourth-year student in the specialty “Journalism,” is in Poland.
Concluding their presentations, KAFU students noted that participation in the academic mobility program provides a unique opportunity to study or gain experience in the best universities around the world. The children not only acquired the necessary knowledge in various fields, but also learned to work in a team, collaborating with peers from other countries.
After the speech, everyone who was interested in the opportunity to study abroad as part of the academic mobility program asked them questions about student life and studying abroad.
