Results of the “Current Issues in Finance, Economics, Management, and Tourism” Section
On April 8, 2026, sectional sessions began at the Kazakhstan-American Free University as part of the XVI International Forum of Young Scientists “Modern Scientific Directions: From Applied Research to Innovation.”
The first platform of the Forum was the section titled “Current Issues in Finance, Economics, Management, and Tourism,” moderated by E.E. Mubarakov. Young researchers presented papers covering a wide range of topics, from the impact of artificial intelligence on human resource management to the implementation of the digital tenge.
Based on the presentations, the expert committee selected the winners and prize recipients:
1st place
Zhakytov Zeyn (2nd year, Management program) — for research on the impact of teambuilding on the financial performance of enterprises in Kazakhstan.
Borzenko Oleg (1st year, Accounting and Audit program) — for analysis of the zero-price effect and consumer behavior.
2nd place
Tomarovsky Nikita (1st year, Management program) — for a study on the evolution of value theory in the context of the emergence of the digital tenge.
Medvedeva Alina (4th year, Management program) — for research on the development of HR management systems based on AI technologies.
3rd place
Linok Yana (4th year, Management program) — for research on corporate governance in an energy company in Eastern Kazakhstan.
Belgibayeva Azida (2nd year, Accounting and Audit program) — for an analysis of the application of IFRS and ISA in the audit of commercial banks.
We congratulate the young researchers and their academic supervisors on the successful defense of their presentations and wish them continued success in their research endeavors!
