Results of the Second Republican Online Olympiad in Tourism

From October 10 to 30, SEnior Lecturers of the Business Department,  Evgenia E. Sumareva, Oksana B. Leiman and KAFU master’s student Alua Akhmetzhanova organized and held the 2nd Republican Online Olympiad among 1st — 4th year students in the EP “Tourism”. The Olympiad was dedicated to World Tourism Day.

The Olympiad was held in two stages: the first – writing a scientific article on the suggested topics, the second – developing a tourism project (route).

The Olympiad was attended by the students from such universities as: Amanzholov East Kazakhstan  University, Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University, M. Kozybaev North Kazakhstan University, Turan-Astana University, Kazakh University of Technology and Business.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the team of Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University took the 1st place, second and third places were shared by the teams of Turan-Astana University and M. Kozybaev North Kazakhstan University, the rest of the participants were awarded certificates for participation, all scientific supervisors were awarded letters of gratitude.
