Roundtable at Turan-Astana University

On December 4, 2025, a roundtable discussion dedicated to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at Turan-Astana University. Representatives from from Turan-Astana University, Turan University (Almaty), the Kazakh-American Free University, the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and representatives of law enforcement agencies participated in the event.

During the meeting, speakers discussed current issues of human rights protection, improving legal literacy, and the role of modern technology and artificial intelligence in the legal sphere.

Angelina Kuzmina, a third-year student in the Law and Law Enforcement program at KAFU, presented a paper on “Problems of Human Rights Protection in the Modern World.” The presentation was supervised by Saveliy A. Muzhchil, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Law and International Relations.
