Roundtable on “The Role of Businesswomen in Society”
On March 3, 2026, a round table titled “The Role of Businesswomen in Society” was held at the Kazakhstan-American Free University.
The event brought together representatives of the Department of Internal Affairs, the prosecutor’s office, the business community, and the academic sphere. The platform became a space for open dialogue about the role of women in modern society, their leadership potential, social responsibility, and contribution to regional development.
During the discussion, participants addressed issues of legal protection, prevention of violence, support for women’s entrepreneurship, and strengthening partnerships between government institutions and educational organizations. Special attention was given to the formation of legal awareness among young people, the development of zero tolerance for any forms of discrimination, and the creation of a safe environment.
The speakers’ presentations were characterized by a practical focus, in-depth analysis, and a genuine interest in achieving real change. Participants emphasized that only joint efforts by law enforcement agencies, businesses, educational institutions, and public organizations can ensure sustainable development and the protection of women’s rights.
Such meetings not only strengthen interdepartmental cooperation but also shape value orientations for the younger generation — respect, responsibility, the rule of law, and human dignity.
