Scientific Cooperation at the «Zerde» Competition

On October 11, 2024, the students of grade 7 “B” of the “Secondary School No. 18” of the Ust-Kamenogorsk city education department of the East Kazakhstan region Yana Sagaidashnaya and Milena Dontsova took 3rd place in the city competition of scientific projects “Zerde”. The girls presented their work in the “Russian Language and Literature” section on the topic “Cryptohistory in the Stories of Assel Omar “Black Snow of December” and “Talisman of Tengri”.

The project was led by the teacher of Russian language and literature, teacher-moderator Irina N. Gulova. Scientific support was provided by the Senior Lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Kazakh-American Free University, Master of Education Natalya A. Moshenskaya.

The schoolchildren’s work is devoted to the study of cryptohistorical motives in the stories of the Kazakh writer Assel Omar. The students analyzed in detail how historical allusions and national symbols are organically intertwined with artistic elements in her works.

The «Zerde» competition became an excellent opportunity for the participants to demonstrate their research and creative abilities, to worthily represent their school, to show deep analytical skills and an original approach to the topic.

Of particular importance is the cooperation between the school and the university, which promotes the exchange of experience, the development of analytical skills and the formation of the scientific potential of students.
