Scientific Cooperation between Universities and Enterprises of East Kazakhstan Region: Problems and Prospects

On June 13, 2022, as part of a working visit of a delegation from the National Academy of Science under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Round Table “Scientific Cooperation between Universities and Enterprises of East Kazakhstan Region: Problems and Prospects” was held. The delegation includes President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kunsulu D. Zakarya, Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar S. Zhumadildaev, Director of the Department of Science of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ruslan Y. Nurlybaev, Head of the Office of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maksat Zh. Bolenbaev and expert consultant Dauren K. Nugumanov.

In her welcoming speech to the participants, Kunsulu D. Zakarya noted that she had arrived in our city at the invitation of Yerezhep A. Mambetkaziev, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noting the importance of developing science in one of the industrial regions of the country and the need to search for new forms of project cooperation. “On behalf of the Eastern Branch of the Academy of Sciences, created at my request at the facility of the first university of sovereign Kazakhstan – East Kazakhstan State University with the personal participation of the President of the Academy Umirzak Sultangazin, in the presence of 45 academicians – laureates of the State Prize, and on behalf of the staff of the Kazakh-American Free University, an institution of international partnership, I am glad to welcome the delegation of representatives of the National Academy of Science under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, – these words from the speech of Yerezhep A. Mambetkaziev underscore the importance of this event for our region and the entire science of Kazakhstan as a whole.
