Seminar and Training Session, “Creators of the Future,” was Held at KAFU for Students of the NIS Ust-Kamenogorsk.

On November 5, 2025, a seminar and training session for students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Ust-Kamenogorsk was held in the assembly hall of the Kazakh-American Free University as part of the international scientific congress “Humanization of Education in the Digital World: Professional and Ethical Guidelines for International Partnership.”

The event, titled “Creators of the Future: Developing Skills for Global Success,” was aimed at developing the personal, leadership, and academic competencies necessary for successful education and careers in the modern world.

The program included four interactive sessions led by KAFU faculty and experts with international education and experience:

Anna Kabardina, Director of International Educational Programs at KAFU and MBA (USA), spoke about career choice and career awareness;

Aleksandra Astafieva, Director of Creative Development and Entrepreneurship at KAFU and a doctoral candidate at Edge Hill University (UK), explained how to think like an entrepreneur and build a path to your dream university;

Ronald Wiley, PhD (USA), Professor of the Department of Law and International Relations at KAFU, presented the values ​​of leadership and service;

Yulia Novitskaya, MBA (USA), Head of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​at KAFU, and Douglas Hartman, PhD (USA), Professor at KAFU and Michigan State University, held a workshop on writing motivation letters for international universities.

The seminar is part of a strategic partnership between the Kazakh-American Free University and the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, aimed at developing international education and preparing the region’s youth for global opportunities.

The events of the KAFU International Scientific Congress “Humanization of Education in the Digital World: Professional and Ethical Guidelines for International Partnership” are taking place from November 3rd to 13th and include plenary sessions, scientific sections, guest lectures, educational seminars, master classes, and an exhibition of faculty research papers.

The KAFU Congress features speakers and experts from Kazakhstan, the United States, Russia, Germany, and other countries, discussing issues of ethics, leadership, digitalization, and the role of artificial intelligence in modern education.
