Seminar “Effective Ways of Writing an Essay”

On February 24, 2023, the Kazakh-American Free University is holding the IX Regional Olympiad in Kazakh language and literature, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Oralkhan Bokey. This event was attended by 95 students of 10th, 11th graders of schools from Ulan, Tarbagatai, Katon-Karagai, Zaisan districts and the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk.

For the leaders who prepared the participants of the Olympiad, a seminar “Effective Ways of Writing an Essay” was organized, which develops the professional competence of teachers. This seminar was held within the framework of mutually beneficial cooperation by the branch of “National Center for Advanced Studies” “Orleu” Institute for Advanced Studies of Teachers in East Kazakhstan region and the Kazakh-American Free University.

The speaker, Zhupar Kurmanova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Head of the department “Innovative Education and Information Technologies” of the Institute for Advanced Training of Pedagogical Workers in the East Kazakhstan Region of the branch of “National Center for Advanced Studies” “Orleu” – shared with school teachers news in the field of education and training qualifications.

Zhanar Sadanova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, and Indira Ibatayeva, teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of the highest category of Shokan Ualikhanov school-lyceum No. 3 of the Department of Education in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk of the Department of Education of the East Kazakhstan region, shared their experience in writing an essay, and the participants of the event shared their thoughts and discussed various issues on this topic in a discussion format.

The participants were awarded certificates confirming their participation in the seminar and the cooperation of the National Center for Advanced Studies “Orleu” and KAFU.
