Seminar “Information Technologies for Teaching Russian Language and Literature”

On March 14, 2025, a seminar entitled “Information Technologies in Teaching Russian Language and Literature” was held at the Kazakhstan-American Free University. The seminar was attended by students of the KAFU Higher College majoring in 01140600 – Pedagogy and Methods of Teaching Language and Literature in Basic Secondary Education (qualification: teacher of Russian language and literature), as well as students of KAFU enrolled in the educational program 6B01702 “Russian Language and Literature.”

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of KAFU Moshenskaya N.A. presented digital tools for teaching Russian language and literature. The main focus was on the use of artificial intelligence in education, its capabilities in the work of a teacher, as well as issues of ethics and the correct use of AI in the educational process.

Students discussed how technologies can help in preparing lessons, creating interactive materials and assessing knowledge, as well as what risks and limitations AI carries in the educational sphere. The seminar became a useful platform for future teachers interested in modern teaching methods.
