Seminar “Lesson Study – an Effective Way to Improve Practice”

On October 5, 2023, under the guidance of Senior Lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of KAFU Zhanar K. Sadanova, 4th-year students of the EP “Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education” took part in the seminar “Lesson Study – an Effective Way to Improve Practice” as part of the course “Pedagogical Mastery”, which was organized at the “Shokan Ualikhanov School-lyceum No. 3” of the education department for the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, East Kazakhstan region.

Lesson study is a pedagogical approach aimed at improving knowledge in the field of teaching experience, which is a unique example of studying activities in the lesson; student learning in a research lesson, and teacher’s professional experience.

Primary school teachers from city schools took part in the seminar; everyone received answers to many questions about the lesson study. The seminar was organized at a very high level.
