Seminar “PR Activities in the Field of Media and Information Policy”

On December 6, 2023, a seminar was held at the Kazakh-American Free University on the topic “PR Activities in the Field of Media and Information Policy”. The seminar was conducted by the Chief Specialist of Information Policy and Media Monitoring of the State Institution “Department of Social Development of the East Kazakhstan Region” Svetlana A. Aksenenko.

Svetlana Aksenenko is a 2020 graduate of the «Journalism» educational program at the Kazakh-American Free University.

During the seminar, the key aspects of PR activities were discussed, such as creating messages, working with public opinions, strategies for interacting with the media and much more. The participants of the seminar – students of the EP “Journalism” – had the opportunity to discuss relevant issues and receive valuable advice from an experienced specialist.

“PR activities in the field of information policy play an important role in shaping the image of the region and influence public perception. It is important to be able to effectively interact with various media channels to achieve your goals,” emphasized Svetlana Aksenenko.
