Student of Kalzhir Secondary School Became the Winner of the Educational Grant of KAFU
From April 21 to 24, 2025, the Republican scientific and practical center “Daryn” of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan held the Republican Olympiad in the Kazakh language and literature named after Kanipa Bitibayeva. This year, the Olympiad was organized in honor of the 80th anniversary of the prominent teacher and researcher of Kazakh literature.
The Olympiad was aimed at deepening and improving students’ knowledge of the Kazakh language and literature, as well as developing their intellectual and creative potential. About 200 gifted 9th to 11th-grade students from all regions of the country took part in the event.
The final stage was held at the Zhambyl specialized boarding school-gymnasium for gifted children and included two rounds: essay writing and oral presentation.
Following the results of the Olympiad, three winners were awarded educational grants. The educational grant of the Kazakh-American Free University was received by Zhaina Dulatkyzy, an 11th-grade student of the Kalzhir Secondary School of the Markakol District.
The grant was presented to the schoolgirl by the First Vice-President of KAFU, Zhassulan Y. Baikenov.
