Summing Up the Results of the Project “Major-Specific Class of KAFU”

Today, one of the criteria for the success of the professional training of the younger generation is the continuous education of a person who is able to take an active part in all the social transformations. Such a unique opportunity is available to the schools of Ust-Kamenogorsk and East Kazakhstan region, which closely cooperate with the Kazakh-American Free University.

Thanks to the continuity of the learning process in the “school – college – university” system, in this 2022-2023 academic year, the educational project “Major-Specific Classes of KAFU” was implemented for 10th and 11th graders. This project involved getting to know the university a year before admission. During the academic year, the school students got acquainted with all the educational programs that are available at our university. And the main task of the university was to show the features and attractiveness of each of these educational programs read by KAFU teachers. The idea of opening specialized classes of KAFU belongs to the President of KAFU – Yerezhep Mambetkaziev.

The President allowed to open these classes on a free admission. Today, being high school graduates, the students received their first document, KAFU major-specific class diploma. This diploma will allow them not only to enter our university, but also to receive a nominal discount on education.

Lyubov Shostko, Director of Secondary school No. 36, spoke about the importance of this project for the city’s schools with a word of thanks to the KAFU administration.
