The Center for the Study of Religious Issues Met again with KAFU Students
A significant meeting between students and representatives of the Center for the Study of Religious Issues took place at the Kazakh-American Free University. This event was a continuation of the Center’s systematic work on the spiritual and moral education of young people and the development of religious literacy.
During the meeting, the Center’s experts discussed in detail:
• contemporary challenges in the religious sphere;
• the role of critical thinking and media literacy;
• the importance of preserving spiritual and cultural values;
• preventing destructive movements and extremist threats.
KAFU students actively participated in the discussion: they asked questions, gave examples from everyday life, and shared their thoughts on how to maintain inner balance and resist manipulation.
Such meetings not only help broaden horizons but also foster a responsible attitude toward spirituality and strengthen the values of tolerance, mutual respect, and peacefulness among students. The Kazakh-American Free University, in collaboration with the Center for the Study of Religious Issues, will continue its work to develop a sustainable worldview and a readiness to confront the challenges of modern society in young people.
