The Dark Side of Artificial Intelligence

The event was organized as part of the “Law and Order” concept and coincided with the upcoming National Financial Security Olympiad of the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

With the rapid digitalization of society, cybersecurity issues are becoming increasingly important. During the meeting, participants thoroughly analyzed the current legal and financial risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence technologies. Particular emphasis was placed on new digital fraud schemes and methods for countering cybercriminals.

The topic resonated strongly with the student audience. The students showed a keen interest in cybersecurity issues: the lecture evolved into a lively discussion, during which they asked the speaker questions and examined real-life cases related to cybercrime investigations.

Events such as these help KAFU students not only broaden their horizons but also develop the critical thinking skills necessary for safely interacting with modern digital technologies.
