The Expanded Meeting of the KAFU Academic Council Identified Key Areas for the University’s Development

During the meeting, measures to increase the number of applicants were approved, and a decision was made to launch a new educational program, SmartStart:KAFU, aimed at school and college students. Initiatives to strengthen cybersecurity in the digital environment were also endorsed.
The expansion of the college’s professional educational programs for vocational qualifications in banking and insurance was also supported. The integration of college and university programs was approved, allowing college graduates to study for shorter periods.
The meeting concluded with a speech by KAFU President and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerezhep A. Mambetkaziyev, who emphasized the importance of the university’s sustainable development in the context of digital transformation and reforms in education.
