The Lecturer from the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Runs Several Events at KAFU
Several events were held at the Kazakh-American Free University as part of the visit of a foreign lecturer of KAFU PhD student Stefan Noack from the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences, Zwickau (Germany).
During the two-week visit, one of the most important meetings was the one with the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek. During this meeting, Stefan Noack spoke about the successful launch of a double-degree master’s program in IT Management with West Saxon University, as evidence of the implementation of cooperation between educational institutions.
On December 6, during the visit of German Ambassador Monika Iversen, Stefan Noack shared with the Ambassador the cooperation of KAFU with German universities.
In addition to formal meetings, Stefan Noack contributed to the educational process of the university. Open lectures were held on the disciplines “Management Control”, and “Organizational Behavior”, as well as classes in German and English at the Linguistic Center of KAFU.
An important point was also a series of meetings with students of local schools and a visit to the East Kazakhstan Abay Humanitarian College, during which students appreciated the opportunity to study with an experienced teacher and native German speaker.
Also during his visit, Stefan shared unique aspects of the higher education system in Germany with KAFU master’s students.
