The Meeting of the Expanded  Academic Council

The meeting of the expanded Academic Council chaired by the President of KAFU, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerezhep A. Mambetkaziev, took place on February 2, 2024 at the Kazakh-American Free University. The agenda included the reports on the progress of implementation of the KAFU Strategic Development Plan for 2023-2027 made by First Vice-President of KAFU Zhassulan E. Baikenov

Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and Postgraduate Education Yuliya A. Gavrilova made a report “On Assessing the Current Research Work at the University.”

Vice-Rector for Youth Policy Natalya P. Urazova spoke about the strategies and innovations in student development center.

The issues of digitalization in a modern university were highlighted in the report of the Director of the Center for Information Support and Digital Educational Technologies, Yuliya V. Trofimova.

The main performance indicators and prospects for the college development were presented by the Director of the Higher College of KAFU, Marina I. Kikina.

Director of the Ust-Kamenogorsk College of Economics and Finance Yersain A. Nabiev stated the prospects for the development of the college work in 2024.
