The Qualifying Round of the International German Language Olympiad was Held at KAFU.

On March 5, 2026, the qualifying round of the International German Language Olympiad organized by the Goethe-Institut was held at the Kazakhstan-American Free University.

Students from city schools who study German and aim to test their knowledge within the framework of an international educational project took part in the Olympiad.

According to the results of the competition, the winner was Asanatuly Asanali, an 11th-grade student of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School. He took first place and earned the right to represent the East Kazakhstan Region at the national stage of the Olympiad.
