Tour of the Forensic Operations Department of the East Kazakhstan Region Police Department

On December 11, 2025, a practical training tour of the Forensic Operations Department of the East Kazakhstan Region Police Department was organized for fourth-year students in the Jurisprudence and Law and Law Enforcement programs.

During the event, the students had the opportunity to gain a first-hand understanding of the main activities of the forensic units of the internal affairs agencies. Department staff provided a detailed description of modern forensic methods and tools for crime investigations and demonstrated specialized equipment used in their daily work.

The students were presented with a standard forensic suitcase containing a set of technical equipment and tools designed for crime scene examination. Of particular interest were a collection of bladed weapons, as well as bullets and cartridge cases of various calibers used in ballistic examinations. In addition, forensic experts provided a visual demonstration of modern automated information systems that enable the identification and analysis of forensically significant information.

The excursion deepened the students’ professional knowledge, developed practical skills, and increased their interest in future careers in law enforcement and forensic work.

We express our gratitude to the East Kazakhstan Region Police Department for their fruitful collaboration, the high level of organization of the event, and their contribution to the practice-oriented training of future specialists.
